YOUTH WITH A PURPOSE (YWAP)
Is Our Teen Ministry here at Living Praise Christian Center. This targeted, powerful & anointed ministry is designed for teens ages 13 – 21 and umbrellas a multitude of ministries that set an environment for teens to learn and thrive within their respective call to purpose in God’s Kingdom. YWAP meets every week for Bible study as well as for their own service entitled the “THE FIRE LIFE.” These Worship services are geared towards getting teens and young adults saved and delivered and on the path to living a life pleasing and acceptable to God.

Youth Pastor Diijon Bishop brings a powerful, practical and innovative ministry to this NOW generation. From his cutting edge delivery to his keep it real approach, teens are experiencing more than just the word, they're experiencing a life change. Along with his wife Lady Rochelle Bishop they have started “THE FIRE LIFE” which continues to impact the lives of hundreds of teens in their community as well as abroad.

YWAP's THE FIRE LIFE Consists of:

WOVEN'ettes: Mentoring program for teenage girls derived from LPCC’s Women Of Virtue & Excellence Network (WOVEN). This discipleship program covers open discussions in regards to issues that affect the body, soul and mind. SUNDAYS 6:00 PM

G.Q. - Gentleman of Quality: Teen boys mentoring weekly discipleship program that draws from the leadership and examples of LPCC's Men Of Valor & Excellence (M.O.V.E.). SUNDAYS 6:00 PM

The Edge: YWAP's Drama Department produces music video's utilizing today's hottest Gospel, Gospel Hip Hop, and Contemporary Christian music. VIEW MUSIC VIDEOS BY "THE EDGE"

FIRE Choir: YWAP's praise team & choir.  Ministers for all FIRE events, Youth Services, and by invitation. TUESDAY REHEARSALS 7:00 PM

I - S.W.A.G. (I Speak When Approaching God): YWAP's prayer culture inspires our teens to openly access the throne of God by learning that their voice needs to be heard by God both individually and as a collective. Teens boldly speak God’s Word through group prayer sessions let by the teens within the group.

FIRE Squad: YWAP’s worship style Contemporary and Hip Hop Dance Ministry Team.

G.Q. Steppers: YWAP's all boy step team instills discipline and focus into the lives of its members.

D.O.P (Daughters of Promise) Steppers: YWAP's all girl step team brings together the WOVEN'ettes in representing unity and discipline.

FIRE Camp: YWAP hosts its own summer camp for kids aged 6 - 13.  Campers take daily trips as well as participate in various activity clubs, sports, movies, video games etc.

L.I.T.E.S. : Leaders in Training Empowered for Success This is our teens work experience program. Teens volunteer for a nominal salary and work as Jr. Counselors in the camp.
